UFC 318 is headed to New Orleans - and the promotion recently revealed three more bouts that will take place as part of the event, including a bantamweight banger.
The card takes place July 19 at Smoothie King Center and is headlined by a BMF title fight between Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier. Among the latest additions is a three-round bantamweight bout between Kyler Phillips and Vinicius Oliveira.
Phillips (12-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) aims to bounce back from an upset loss to Rob Font in October. Prior to that, Phillips had won three fights in a row, against Marcelo Rojo, Raoni Barcelos and Pedro Munhoz in succession.
Oliveira (22-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has won five fights in a row including three in the UFC. After an incredible flying knee knockout over Bernardo Sopaj, Oliveira defeated Ricky Simon by unanimous decision. In February, he defeated Said Nurmagomedov in a Fight of the Night bonus-earning unanimous decision victory.
Also added to the card Thursday was a light heavyweight bout between Jimmy Crute (12-4-2 MMA, 4-4-2 UFC) and Marcin Prachnio (17-8 MMA, 4-6 UFC), as well as a women's strawweight bout between Nicolle Caliari (8-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Carli Judice (4-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC), which Ag. Fight first reported.
