WASHINGTON (TNND) -- With more than 82 million Americans traveling for Thanksgiving this year, what are the top destinations to travel to for the holiday?
Allianz Partners has ranked the top Thanksgiving travel destinations for 2025, both within the United States and internationally.
The survey also shows that 82% of Americans are traveling within the United States, with 18% traveling internationally for the Thanksgiving holiday.
"Americans are once again making Thanksgiving travel a priority, but they're also becoming savvier about how they plan," Emily Hartman, general manager at Allianz Partners USA, said in a statement. "More travelers are booking early, spending confidently, and protecting their trips with travel insurance to ensure they can focus on what matters most, time with loved ones, instead of worrying about potential disruptions."
New York has been the top Thanksgiving travel destination five years in a row for Allianz.
Cancun has topped Allianz's rankings for the fifth straight year, due to its warm weather this time of year.
