After the Amazon's huge Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 price drop, Samsung and other retailers have launched a raft of new offers and discount codes that slash the price of most of the company's smartphones.
This story was updated on November 1st with a new Samsung voucher code.
Last week, Samsung U.K. cut the prices of most of its mobile phones, tablets, home appliances, and wearables by 20% with the new code "UNLOCK." Read my full story on that here, but here's a selection of Samsung's new prices for its 2025 tech:
You'll notice that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are not included in that deal. Maybe it's because they're still too new for a straight 20% discount, or maybe the Korean company has something bigger up its sleeve for Black Friday.
If you don't want to wait until next month's shopping holiday, Amazon has knocked £100 ($131.79) off the foldable phone, bringing the price down to £1,799 ($1365.10). Amazon will extend that discount by another £100 ($131.79) if you're a student.
There's also 30% off the Galaxy Watch 8 or Galaxy Buds3 Pro if the phone and wearables are bought together, which beats Samsung's own deal that knocks 10% off accessories when the handset is purchased. The Flip 7 comes with the same bundle offer, but the price of the actual phone hasn't dropped. Both are perfectly good deals, but Amazon's $400 off promotion remains the best deal I've seen -- and likely the best you'll find for a while -- on the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Like Apple's iPhone Air, the Galaxy S25 Edge is reportedly struggling to sell, which means it might not return next year. Perhaps because of that, Samsung -- and other retailers -- have slashed the price of the ultra-slim phone.
Amazon has cut the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge by $410, bringing the price down to $689.99 -- a 37% discount. Until this phone becomes a collector's item in 10 years, that price probably won't rise much. Best Buy is running a similar deal, knocking $400 off the slim handset and bringing its price to $699.99. Walmart, too, has discounted the Edge by $230, reducing the cost to $869.99. But I suspect the retailer will drop the Edge's price further to compete with better deals elsewhere.
Update 11/1: Samsung has released another voucher for Galaxy Book5 buyers. If Samsung laptop buyers use the code "GALAXY100" at checkout, the device will be discounted by £100. This can be stacked alongside the 20% off "UNLOCK" code. Together the coupons knock £199.80 off the Galaxy Book5, bringing the price down to £699.20.
Shoppers can get a further £100 off if they trade-in "any device" in "any condition." Samsung has run this type of promotion before and I'm told it will truly honor the promise of accepting any trade-in device in any condition. To be safe, I'd recommend sending in a working phone. But there's nothing stopping you handing over an old tablet, phone or laptop to trigger that discount. Check out eBay or Swappa for some ultra-cheap and old devices.
