Yucatán Week in Mexico Returns to Mexico City; 270 Exhibitors Will Participate

From October 3 to 12, the Sports Palace will become the epicenter of Yucatecan culture and heritage with Yucatán Week in Mexico. This event includes tradition, business talent, and entertainment for thousands of visitors.

Leading the presentation, the head of the Ministry of Economy and Labor (SETY), Ermilo Barrera Novelo, stated that Yucatán Week in Mexico is a showcase of the development model promoted by the state.

"An economy with planning, inclusion, and identity. This is a joint effort that brings together producers, artisans, entrepreneurs, academia, and government to showcase the greatness of Yucatán," he stated.

The event will bring together 270 exhibitors spread across 151 stands, feature four restaurants with capacity for 450 diners, a performance venue for 500 people, and is expected to attract more than 100,000 visitors.

Barrera Novelo stated that the impact of this event will be reflected in the promotion of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), new business opportunities, the strengthening of the tourism sector, and the dissemination of the culture and traditions that distinguish the state.

The president of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE) of Yucatán, Claudia González Góngora, emphasized that this event is a source of pride for Yucatecans.

"Each product, each dish, and each cultural expression reflects our history, creativity, and talent, which distinguish Yucatán in Mexico and the world," she stated.

In addition to the wide range of gastronomic and artisanal offerings, Yucatán Week in Mexico will include a business meeting with national and international business chambers, allowing Yucatecan companies to create strategic alliances and access new markets.
