HomeGoods to open 5 new locations by Nov. 6. See upcoming stores.

HomeGoods, a sister store of T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, is set to open five new locations before or on Nov. 6, according to the retailer.

The newest batch of openings follows Ernie Herrman, CEO of TJX Companies, announcing in May 2024 a goal of opening at least 1,300 additional locations globally across the TJX portfolio of stores.

The company's first two stores opened in Massachusetts in 1977, according to the TJX website, and the company acquired Marshalls in 1995. At the time, Marshalls was the second-largest off-price retailer in the United States, and it had 496 stores.

HomeGoods was introduced in 1992, according to the TJX website, and offers an "eclectic selection of home fashions from around the world."

Here's what to know about the upcoming HomeGoods openings.
