Hemmer was named the Division 4 Defensive Player of the Year after earlier in the meeting earning a berth on the All-U.P. Dream Team.
She was the only player from an area team making the seven-member Dream Team, which a tie for the last spot expanded it from its original six members.
The group also chose a First Team and Second Team in Divisions 1-3 and in Division 4, making for a total of 49 U.P. players earning All-U.P. honors.
Hemmer was earlier named the Player of the Year in both the Western Peninsula Athletic Conference and the Mid-Peninsula Conference. The West PAC includes most M-PC schools, Copper Country schools Houghton, Hancock and Calumet, plus West Iron County.

The Baylor University-bound Hemmer was noted for making 326 kills with about a .400 attack percentage, 78 blocks and 43 digs with a 74.8% rating on serves.
Three area players were named to the Divisions 1-3 First Team -- senior Maya Carlson of Manistique and juniors Harlow Davis of Marquette and Isla Engstrom of Negaunee.
Carlson was named to the M-PC First Team; Davis to the Great Northern Conference First Team with a 90% serve rate, 157 digs and 266 assists; and Engstrom a dual West PAC and M-PC First Team member with 1.7 kills per set, 3.4 digs per set and 49% serve rate.
Three more area players were named to the Division 4 First Team, all seniors -- Jenessa Eagle of Ishpeming, Olivia Cotey of Munising and Aliya Taylor of Newberry.
Eagle also made the M-PC First Team with 119 kills, 220 digs, 15 blocks and an 86% serve rate. Taylor was noted for making the Eastern U.P. Conference First Team.
Four area players made the D 1-3 Second Team -- senior Kadence Ruggerio of Gwinn and juniors Samantha Sales of Gwinn and Izzy Francisco and Lilia Mason of Negaunee.
Another five are on the D-4 Second Team -- juniors Carissa Deatsman of Munising and Elisa Delene of Baraga and sophomores Kylie Stuer of Superior Central, Addie Bowerman of Munising and Sydney Duflo of Newberry.
Ava Fischer of the 42-2 Forest Park team that reached the MHSAA Division 4 semifinals was named Miss U.P. Volleyball. She was also named the Division 4 Offensive Player of the Year as her Trojans were named the D-4 Team of the Year.
Fischer, the Player of the Year in the Skyline Central Conference, had 393 kills, 288 digs, 50 service aces and 96% on serve receive.
Forest Park was the only team in Fowler's run to the state D-4 title to take the champs to a fifth set in the MHSAA tournament.
In Divisions 1-3, Chloe Coppo of Calumet was named Offensive Player of the Year, Mia Nordstrom of Jeffers the Defensive Player of the Year, and Kingsford the Team of the Year after the Flivvers went 22-3 and made it to the MHSAA Division 2 regional semifinals.
Coaches of the Year went to Rachel Sondgerath of Jeffers in Divisions 1-3 and to Brian Lampaa of Hancock in Division 4.
