On Monday, October 27, BTS' Jungkook was spotted at the VIP premiere of Cha Eun-woo's upcoming adventure comedy film, The First Ride. While many fans and netizens were excited about the idol's apperance at the VIP premiere in support of his friend, they further swooned over the Cha Eun-woo doll that Jungkook carried as he graced the red carpet.
When photos of the moment landed on the internet, fans and netizens not only found it quite hilarious but also admired the adorable friendship that the two 97-liners shared with one another. Additionally, fans were also happy to see him come in support of Cha Eun-woo despite his current low activity in the industry and busy schedules in preparation for BTS' next group comeback. BTS' Jungkook, otherwise known as Jeon Jung-kook, is a South Korean singer who debuted under BigHit Entertainment, now rebranded as HYBE Labels, in 2013. He stands as the vocalist and dancer of the K-pop boy group, BTS. Alongside his activities as a BTS member, he also established his solo career on the sidelines.
The idol released a few solo songs through BTS albums, such as Euphoria, My Time, and more. He also released one solo track through SoundCloud called Still With You in 2020 on the occasion of BTS' debut anniversary. In 2022, he rolled out a few more solo tracks, such as My You, Left and Right in collaboration with Charlie Puth, Stay Alive, and Dreamers (2022 FIFA World Cup Theme Song).
However, his official solo debut was with the release of his first single, SEVEN feat. Latto, in July 2023, which was soon followed up with another single, 3D, in collaboration with Jack Harlow in September 2023. Soon, he released his first studio album, GOLDEN, in November 2023. The album held the song, Standing Next To You, as the title track, and also consisted of all-English songs.
Around December 2023, the idol enlisted in the military for his mandatory enlistment along with his fellow group member, Jimin, under the Buddy System. Despite his enlistment, the idol released one more track, Never Let Go, in June 2024 for BTS' 11th debut anniversary. On the other hand, in June 2025, Jungkook and Jimin were discharged from the military service.
Following his return to the industry, the idol mostly spent his time reuniting with the BTS members and also connecting with ARMYs through Weverse livestreams and social media posts. His first public apperance was in September 2025 as Calvin Klein's ambassador for the group's 2026 Spring collection fashion show.
