Down 2-0, Bridgewater-Raritan (7-17) moved ahead for good at 4-2 with three runs in the top of the fifth inning. JR Rosado had a home run with two RBI and Matthew Lehberger went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored.
Bridgewater-Raritan plays top-seeded Ridge, No. 13 in the NJ.com Top 20, in the quarterfinals. The two Somerset County rivals split the season series, 1-1.
For Scotch Plains-Fanwood (9-14), Jack Sponheimer went 1-for-2 with a walk and a run.
