Centuries of milling history will be brought to life in a talk at a Hampshire attraction.
Elizabeth Bartram, director of the Mills Archive Trust, will present 'Gems of the Mills Archive' at Whitchurch Silk Mill on Wednesday, October 15 at 7pm.
Ms Bartram will share highlights from one of the world's most significant collections of milling history, exploring the lives of millers, the evolution of milling technology, and the impact of mills on communities and trade.

"The archive is full of surprises, and I'm excited to share some of its most intriguing gems with the public."
The Mills Archive Trust preserves thousands of documents, photographs and artefacts detailing the story of milling across the UK and beyond.
The talk will include rare stories and personal accounts, from small water-powered mills on the River Test to the industrial giants of the 19th century.
Tickets are £15 and include refreshments.
A discounted ticket priced at £10 is available for local history group members and can be purchased directly from the mill shop.
Doors open at 6.30pm, and all proceeds from the event will support the Living Weaving Heritage at Whitchurch Silk Mill.
