The Orihuela City Council's Youth Department has unveiled its Halloween programme for this year, promising an evening filled with workshops, music, parades, and activities for children and families.
The events will take place on Friday, October 31, in both central Orihuela and Orihuela Costa, offering residents and visitors a chance to enjoy a festive and family-friendly celebration.
Youth Councillor Anabel García said Halloween has become "one of the most anticipated events for the children and families of our municipality," highlighting the council's commitment to creating inclusive, creative spaces for young people.
The Halloween celebration runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in both Orihuela centre and Orihuela Costa. Activities will include children's workshops, face painting, crafts, and slime making. The event features a grand Halloween parade starting at 8:00 p.m. from Glorieta Gabriel Miró, accompanied by local music and dance groups. Also, a themed train will tour Orihuela's streets during the event, departing from the same location.
Orihuela Costa's celebrations will take place around Capricornio and Escorpiones streets, also featuring inflatables, a batucada band, and sweet treats. Full details are available via the Orihuela City Council website.
