Korean Society of Malaysia is continuing its meaningful collaboration with the Segambut community in Kuala Lumpur through a series of initiatives that support children, families and senior citizens.
The collaboration with the office of Segambut MP Hannah Yeoh included a Free Milk Project, launched in November 2023 at Flat Taman Sejahtera and Kampung Sungai Penchala.
"The initiative provides essential nutrition for children below six, with 168 young beneficiaries receiving three boxes of milk weekly," the MP's office said in a media statement.

"Over the past two years, the project has recorded more than 10,000 redemptions, helping ease the financial burden of low-income families."
Sponsors for the programme included Everchem Group, Lotte Chemical Titan, Hankook Tire Malaysia, Pixx My, Korean School of Malaysia, SDT Inc and Posco Malaysia.
In January this year, the partnership expanded with the Free Haircut Initiative, sponsored by La Fiorire Korean Hair Salon.
The programme offered nine sessions across Segambut, benefitting up to 60 to 90 residents, including senior citizens, at each event.
Three more sessions are planned by the end of the year, bringing the total to 12 sessions for 2025.
Most recently, the Free Football Training sessions kicked off in collaboration with KDH Global Sports Group.
The programme offers eight sessions for children from B40 families, for four age categories, from Under-9 to Under-16.
