Hosted by Lady Lake Parks & Recreation, Centennial Week honors the city's official founding on October 19, 1925 and celebrates its evolution from a railroad and citrus hub to a thriving, community-oriented hometown.
Lady Lake's centennial has been an incredible opportunity to reflect on where we come from and celebrate where we are going, said event coordinator Amy Alicea. We have a great week of events planned, and this finale is our way of bringing everyone together once again to celebrate as a community under the fireworks.
The finale concludes a series of centenary events including The Taste of Lady Lake Speakeasy, historical exhibitions and community activities celebrating the heritage and spirit of Lady Lake.
