A New Forest hotel, which is a "beacon of hospitality," has been named among the UK's best for 2026.
Chewton Glen, which is located near New Milton, was among a selection of establishments included in The Good Hotel Guide's Cesar Winners for 2026.
Discussing their choices, the publication shared: "We give our Good Hotel Guide Cesar Awards to the best hotels of the year. Inspired by Cesar Ritz, the most celebrated of hoteliers, these have been called the Oscars of hotel keeping."

The Good Hotel Guide praised Chewton Glen for its sense of luxury and its variety of choices for where to stay.
In their write-up, they shared: "Nothing stands still at this New Forest beacon of hospitality, which sets the standard for country-house hotels with a seamless blend of luxury and informality, family-friendliness and romance.
"Moving, as ever, with the times, in summer 2025 it unveiled refurbished interiors and a 'reset' of its dining options.
"From plush, air-conditioned classic, garden and estate rooms, to coach-house mezzanine, hot-tub, junior, and master suites, accommodation choices are endlessly appealing.

Chewton Glen has plenty to offer outside of the rooms, with a spa, cookery classes and various dining options available.

One person wrote: "We stayed in one of the beautiful Treetop Suites at Chewton Glen, and we really enjoyed every minute.
"We chose this hotel because they welcomed our little dog, Hugo, and the team could not have been more accommodating."
