Ansu Fati looks set to leave Barcelona for Monaco after struggling for game time under Hansi Flick this season.
It had been thought that Fati would move on a season-long loan with an option to buy, but the latest update suggests it could be a permanent transfer.
Fabrizio Romano is now reporting that Barcelona and Monaco are negotiating a price which could be less than €20 million euros. Romano says there will also be a sell-on clause.
Any sale of Ansu would obviously be pure profit, as he's an academy graduate, and would boost the club's financial situation.
Barcelona will also be able to get Fati off the wage bill. It's previously been reported that he's one of the club's highest earners and is currently set to be paid around €26m gross in wages over the next two years.
