A POPULAR National Trust site in Worcestershire is hosting October half-term adventures for families.
Hanbury Hall, near Droitwich Spa, is offering a range of events themed around myths and magic.
Families can embark on a garden trail inspired by Hecate, the goddess of magic, witchcraft and protection.
Trail booklets can be picked up at the visitor reception.
Children can duck and weave between the witchy web, explore touch boxes and design potions at the smell station.
The trail will run every day during half-term (from Saturday, October 25) 10am to 4pm, for £2.
Hecate's lair in the Long Gallery offers more fun, with dress-up costumes and a chance to make an animal familiar shadow torch to take home.

A volunteer potions master will be on the events lawn, helping children craft their own fizzing potion.
Children can mix 'frog's brains' and 'unicorn dust' to create 'special powers'.
The potions session will be held on Saturday, October 25, Tuesday, October 28, Thursday, October 30, and Saturday, November 1, from 11am to 3pm for £2 per potion.
Face painter Joy Edgington will transform children into characters of their choice.
Face painting will be available in the Long Gallery on Sunday, October 26, Monday, October 27, Tuesday, October 28, from 10am to 4pm, and Friday, October 31, from 10am to 2pm, with prices starting at £4 for a cheek and £6 for a full face.
Special talks on Greek mythology depicted in the Thornhill wall paintings will take place on October 22, 29, and November 5 at 11am and 12pm.
Visitors can also enjoy a stroll around 400 acres of parkland and pay a visit to the Courtyard Kitchen or Stables Café.
Mobility scooters and an access vehicle are available to assist visitors.
