Several ASUS B850, B840, & B860 Motherboards Listed At Retailer: Budget Models Start At $200 While Strix Series Go Up To $387

Eight different ASUS B850, B840, and B860 motherboard models are listed on the retailer, revealing the price and the launch date. Expect the B850 motherboards from other vendors to launch at the same time frame.

The AMD B850, B860 as well as Intel's B860 motherboards are almost ready to hit the market and, since they have started to appear in various leaks, expect some price reveals as well. Today, we have the first price leak on these motherboards, especially the ASUS ones, which were recently listed on a UK retailer.

While we don't know which retailer this is, we can at least see the number of motherboards ASUS has prepared for the launch of both AMD and Intel processors. This lineup includes the entry-level Prime series, the budget-oriented TUF series, as well as the mid-range ROG Strix series.

The leaker @momomo_us posted a screenshot of eight motherboard listings, which are as follows:

Without 20% VAT, the prices of the motherboards went noticeably down, but the prices still start at $200 for entry-level boards like ASUS Prime B860M-K and $219 for the Prime B840-A WiFi. However, there will be more boards in the smaller form factor with the B840 chipset, which could go below $200. The B850 and B840 are both AMD chipsets and the B860 is an Intel one, dedicated to the Core Ultra 200 processors.

These prices are subject to change as the motherboards haven't launched officially, but we can get a rough idea of what the budget 800 series chipsets from both Intel and AMD will cost. What's interesting is that we now know that AMD motherboards will be launching at the CES 2025 event since the release date is mentioned below in their listings as 6th January 2025. However, the Intel B860 motherboards will be launched a week later.

This could mean that Intel's other board partners will launch their models on 13th January as well, but AMD 800-series motherboards will be revealed on 6th January. We recently saw both ASUS and Gigabyte B850 and B840 chipset motherboards leaked online, which showed their design and features.
