GILBOA, N.Y. (NEWS10)- Gilboa-Conesville voters have favored a $7.9 million capital project Tuesday night. The project was approved with 62 to 21 votes.
The tax-neutral project will make improvements throughout the district in education buildings and the bus garage. If budget constraints happen, alternate project items are also included, allowing the district to prioritize the most crucial improvements.
"We want to thank all community members who participated in the vote on the GCCSD Capital Project," the district posted. "Your involvement is vital to the success of our schools and the future of our students. Together, we're building a brighter future."
The district is expected to discuss the project at Wednesday night's board of education meeting. To see a full scope of the improvement project or to see the meeting agenda, visit the school district's website.
