KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Noah Cameron (Central Arkansas) pitched into the seventh, scattering six singles as the Kansas City Royals beat the Cincinnati Reds 3-2 to salvage the final game of the series on Wednesday night.
Cameron (2-1) allowed 1 run on 6 hits and 2 walks with 2 strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Cameron is the second major-league pitcher since 1893 to allow 1 run or less allowed with more than 6 1/3 innings pitched in his first 4 MLB starts.
Maikel Garcia singled with one out in the fourth, extending his hitting streak to 13 games, then scored from first on Drew Waters' deflected single.
In the fifth, John Rave doubled to right, collecting his first major league hit, and scored when Bobby Witt Jr. bounced a two-out double inside the first base bag for a 2-0 lead.
Witt added an insurance run with a seventh-inning sacrifice fly.
Carlos Estevez struck out two for a four-out save, his 15th.
Among his three singles, Spencer Steer delivered two-out RBI hits in the sixth and eighth.
Tyler Stephenson hit three singles while TJ Friedl hit two singles and has multiple hits in six straight games.
Hunter Greene (4-3) allowed 2 runs on 7 hits and a walk with 3 strikeouts in 5 innings.
Running on a 2-2 pitch, Garcia scored from first when second baseman Matt McLain deflected Waters' hit into shallow right field, snapping a scoreless tie.
CARDINALS 6, ORIOLES 4 Brendan Donovan hit a two-run homer, Masyn Winn had four hits and St. Louis beat host Baltimore. St. Louis trailed 3-0 in the second inning and 4-2 in the fourth before coming back to win the deciding matchup of the three-game series.
GUARDIANS 7, DODGERS 4 Angel Martinez hit a three-run go-ahead homer and host Cleveland scored five times in the eighth inning to rally for a victory over Los Angeles.
TIGERS 4, GIANTS 3 Justyn-Henry Malloy hit a go-ahead single in a four-run fifth inning to help host Detroit rally to beat San Francisco. The American League-leading Tigers swept the three-game series and closed their homestand with a four-game winning streak. Detroit generated all of its offense in the fifth with Colt Keith's two-run double and Malloy's two-out, two-run single.
BREWERS 6, RED SOX 5 (10) Caleb Durbin's sacrifice fly drove in the winning run for host Milwaukee, which earned its first sweep of the season with a victory over Boston in 10 innings.
NATIONAL LEAGUE
PIRATES 10, DIAMONDBACKS 1 Paul Skenes dominated in six-plus scoreless innings, O'Neil Cruz hit a two-run homer and visiting Pittsburgh rolled over Arizona. Skenes (4-5), last year's NL rookie of the year, allowed 4 hits, struck out 7 and walked none in 6 2/3 innings.
MARLINS 10, PADRES 8 Agustin Ramirez had the first four-hit game of his career including a home run and a go-ahead two-run single as visiting Miami beat San Diego. Ramirez went 4 for 5 with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. Eric Wagaman and Otto Lopez added three hits each with Lopez hitting a three-run homer. Javier Sanoja hit two doubles. Ronny Henriquez (3-1) went two innings for the win and Calvin Faucher pitched the ninth for his third save. Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara lasted four innings and gave up six runs. He had lost his previous seven starts.
CUBS 2, ROCKIES 1 Pete Crow-Armstrong hit his 15th home run, Matthew Boyd pitched six innings of four-hit ball and host Chicago edged Colorado for its fourth straight win.

RAYS 5, TWINS 0 Brandon Lowe and Junior Caminero hit fourth-inning home runs, and Drew Rasmussen allowed one hit in six innings to lead host Tampa Bay over Minnesota.
ASTROS 5, ATHLETICS 3 Zach Dezenzo homered and Victor Caratini drove in two runs in the seventh inning to help host Houston rally for a victory over the Athletics.
BLUE JAYS 2, RANGERS 0 Bo Bichette hit a pinch-hit, two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to lift visiting Toronto over Texas.
