Indianapolis Colts tackle offensive line in way too early 2026 NFL mock draft

Pro Football Network has put together an extremely early 2026 NFL mock draft. So, who did the Indianapolis Colts end up coming away with?

Now, to state the obvious, getting these selections right is a nearly impossible task. We don't know where the Colts will be picking, positional needs can change drastically, and prospects will move up and down draft boards over the next 11 months.

So, instead, use these very early mock drafts more as a guide towards which prospects you should be keeping your eyes on during the 2025 college football season.

Having said all of that, the Colts hold the seventh pick in this mock draft, which comes from PFN's mock draft simulator. In reality, if the Colts actually hold a top 10 pick, they're probably going quarterback, but here they selected Miami offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa.

"Francis Mauigoa, the younger brother of Jets linebacker Francisco Mauigoa, is a dominant presence in the trenches," wrote PFN. "He plays with a wide base, refined hands, and smooth footwork in pass sets. If he declares, there's a good chance he's a first-round lock."

Listed at 6-6 and weighing 315 pounds, Mauigoa already has two years of starting experience under his belt, with all 1,779 snaps coming at right tackle.

He took a big step forward in 2024, allowing only one sack and 19 pressures compared to five sacks and 23 pressures the season prior, even with playing nearly 100 more pass-blocking snaps.

Among all tackles, Mauigoa would rank 40th in pass-blocking efficiency, and he was 64th in PFF's run-blocking grade.

Of course, there's a long ways to go, but tackle could end up being a pretty big need for the Colts. Braden Smith is in the final year of his deal, while Matt Goncalves is moving to right guard.
