Pirates farm report for Aug. 28, 2025: Rafael Flores, Cam Devanney collect 3 hits each in Indy loss

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 73-55) dropped a 5-3 decision to Buffalo (Blue Jays). C Rafael Flores (.265) was 3 for 4 with a pair of singles and a triple. 3B Cam Devanney (.269) also went 3 for 4 with three singles. RHP Thomas Harrington (5.34) started and tossed one shutout inning, striking out one. RHP Sean Sullivan (2-3, 4.58) went 2⅓ innings and gave up five runs on five hits, walked a pair and struck out three. RHP Wilkin Ramos (4.05) tossed two shutout innings and fanned three while RHP Ryder Ryan (3.99) gave up one hit, walked two and struck out two in two innings. CF Ryan Kreidler (.248) went 1 for 3 with a home run, his fifth. RF Jase Bowen (.246) was 1 for 3 with a two-run triple.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 60-62) fell 10-4 to Harrisburg (Nationals). Esmerlyn Valdez (.241) went 3 for 4 with a single, a double and a two-run home run, his third with the Curve. C Omar Alfonzo (.219) slapped a two-run single. 2B Termarr Johnson (.266) went 0 for 5 with a strikeout. Starter RHP Po-Yu Chen (4-10, 5.84) surrendered five runs on four hits and walked two in 1⅔ innings. LHP Jaden Woods (4.91) gave up one run on three hits and fanned three in 1⅓ innings. LHP Cy Nielson (4.71) yielded one run on two hits, walked one and struck out a pair in 2⅔ innings. GREENSBORO (High-A, 85-37) cruised to a 9-2 win over Wilmington (Nationals). 1B Jared Jones (.167) powered the Grasshopper's offense with a 2 for 4 night with a three-run homer and a two-run dinger, his second and third of the year. DH Callan Moss (.398) singled and walked in a run. 2B Keiner Delgado (.236) went 1 for 5 with an RBI single. RHP Khristian Curtis (7-5, 4.22) started and went six innings, giving up two runs on three hits, walking one and striking out seven. LHPs Julian Bosnic (3.70), Inmer Lobo (3.32) and RHP Jake Shirk (2.49) each tossed a shutout inning in relief.
