The divine grace and compassion of God are truly immeasurable. Sri Hariji described the Lord's various qualities in a discourse. Lord Nrusimha gently placed the child devotee Prahlada on his lap and, with boundless compassion, asked him lovingly about his well-being. In response, Prahlada humbly said his devotion could never equal the Lord's infinite mercy.
Although decisions are typically made by majority rule, Lord Rama displayed His unparalleled compassion towards Vibhishana. While everyone except Hanuman opposed Vibhishana's acceptance, Rama graciously welcomed him because of his absolute surrender, even though Vibhishana came from the enemy camp.
Rama blessed Ahalya and restored her to her original form, granting her liberation as a reward for her steadfast devotion.
Lord Krishna saved Draupathi when she cried out as "Govinda" in her moment of most profound distress and humiliation. The Lord declared that He remained ever indebted to Draupathi for her unwavering faith and whole-hearted devotion.
The young devotee Dhruva, who performed intense penance, was granted an exalted and eternal place in 'Dhruva Mandala' -- a special celestial realm created by God Himself. This divine honour was bestowed as a token of appreciation for the child's steadfast devotion and unwavering determination.
Another instance is Lord Vishnu rescuing the elephant Gajendra from the clutches of the crocodile when the helpless creature sincerely pleaded for divine help.
Scriptures teach that a person is destined to be reborn according to the final thought occupying the mind at the moment of death. Yet, for those who have surrendered completely at the feet of the Lord, He Himself ensures that their final thought is centred on Him. By His grace, such devotees attain His divine abode, Sri Vaikunta, transcending the cycle of birth and death.
