Banque Lombard Odier & Cie SA acquired Dutch asset manager Ownership Capital in a rare takeover by Geneva's oldest financial institution.
The move is intended to add to Lombard Odier's sustainable investing business, raising those assets to $10 billion, according to a statement on Tuesday. Ownership Capital, which is led by Otto Van Buul, is a sustainability-focused equity manager that was spun out of a Dutch pension fund more than a decade ago.
