Violent thugs and sex offenders were brought to justice last month.
Several Hampshire criminals were put behind bars in October for crimes including child rape and serious assault.
Here is a recap of just some of the shocking cases heard in October.

Kieran Bond, 32, was handed six life sentences for raping two children - a young boy and girl - over six incidents in Eastleigh in 2018.
Southampton Crown Court heard his despicable actions "ruined the lives" of both children.
He was 26 at the time of the offences.
Speaking after the sentencing, a family member said: "He can rot in hell. No sentence can change how it has affected the kids."
Bond, of Oak Road, Bursledon, was sentenced after being found guilty by a jury at trial of four counts of rape of a boy aged under 13, and two counts of rape of a girl aged under 13 earlier this year.
He was given six life sentences, with a minimum of 16 years before he becomes eligible for parole.

Violent thug Kier Tong, 40, attacked a woman by stamping on her and beating her with a tree branch after she tried to leave his tent on Southampton Common.
He dragged his victim kicking and screaming into bushes on Southampton Common on March 8 after the pair met earlier that day.
Kier told the woman, in her 40s, he was a masseur before later claiming he was a "porn star you can pay for".
He then lashed out as she tried to leave, Southampton Crown Court heard.
The woman was eventually able to free herself from his grasp and ran towards the path with blood pouring from her mouth and nose.
Tong, of no fixed address, admitted a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Former sixth-form teacher Leo Norman, of Peartree Avenue, Southampton, is now in prison for repeatedly grooming his teenage students.
The 46-year-old who worked at St Anne's School in Southampton, was sentenced after admitting three charges of conducting sexual activity with a child by a person of trust.
The offences which took place between September 2014 and June 2019 while he worked at the Catholic school as an English and Media teacher.
The court was told that the three victims were his pupils, and that he paid them extra attention, complimented them and took an interest in their personal lives to build their trust and touch them sexually and inappropriately.
He was jailed for 14 months and is subject to a sexual harm prevention order and made to sign the sex offenders register for ten years.

A man who filmed himself raping a child will spend more than a decade behind bars.
Christopher Dwan carried out his perverted crimes against the girl while she slept.
This was just one of the 30 sexual offences he committed against young girls over a year, Southampton Crown Court heard.
Dwan, 40, also photographed and filmed a girl in a bathroom, while on another occasion, he filmed himself performing a sex act near the girl.
A total of six victims were identified in this case, according to Hampshire police.
Dwan, of Romsey Road, Winchester, pleaded guilty to a catalogue of offences, including two counts of oral rape of a girl aged 13 to 15, six counts of sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15, and one count of causing or inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity.
He also admitted to three counts of engaging in sexual communications with a child, three counts of causing a child aged 13 to 15 to look at an image of sexual activity, and various counts of taking, making, and distributing indecent photographs/pseudo photographs of children.
Additional charges included two counts of operating equipment beneath the clothing of another without consent and one count of recording an image under clothing to observe another without consent.
