Marco Masa and Eliza Borromeo's tight hug during the second eviction night of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" stirred hearts online over the weekend.
On Tuesday's episode of "Unang Hirit," the pair was asked about that viral moment.
Marco, who was the first to enter the Confession Room after he was evicted, said that he heard Eliza crying before she came in, and recognized her voice.
When she entered the Confession Room, confirming that she was the second evictee, Marco said, "Nalungkot talaga ako, na-shock tataga ako."
"I really wanted her to stay."
At the same time, Marco admitted there was "feeling of relief," and when they hugged, "I was really just trying to be there for her."
Host Lyn Ching teased the pair about their closeness and Kaloy Tingcungco brought up their shippers, who call their tandem "EliCo."
Marco said the ship name was "super cute," and shared that they're in the "process of getting to know each other."
He added they both wouldn't mind love team projects for them.
"If there are opportunities po, we are really open," he said.
On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Eliza said the two of them are "super" good friends, and that she's happy to get to know him in the outside world.
They are also focusing on their solo careers.
Marco and Eliza had gotten close during their stay inside Bahay ni Kuya. In a previous episode, Eliza described how her connection with Marco unexpectedly grew from the very start.
"Si Marco ang isa sa mga unang lumapit sa loob ko. At siyempre, hindi ko rin naman in-expect na may mada-develop na hindi lang palabas. Gano'n lang, makikilala ko siya, makikilala niya ako. Siyempre, hindi naman natin mapipigilan ang bugso ng damdamin."
Marco and Eliza are the second pair of housemates to get evicted from Bahay ni Kuya this season.
