Tropical Depression One-E form off Mexico's coast in the eastern Pacific

Tropical Depression One-E has formed in the eastern Pacific and is moving toward the western coast of Mexico, according to the National Hurricane Center. At 3 p.m. Central Time, the center of Tropical Depression One-E was located 835 miles south-southeast of the tip of Baja, California, and moving toward the northwest at 9 mph. A northwest to north-northwest motion should continue for the next few days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph with higher gusts.Some strengthening is forecast over the next couple of days. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb, the NHC said.
