From Season 4's Release Receives Promising Update After Long Wait

From season 4's release gets a promising update from star Ricky He. From's cast of characters features Ricky as Kenny Liu, one of the main characters trapped in the mysterious Township that is plagued by vicious nocturnal monsters and other sinister forces.

Ahead of From season 3's game-changing ending released in November 2024, the MGM+ horror series was renewed for a fourth season. Season 4 began filming in June, and with a release window of 2026, more than a year will have passed between seasons.

Now, on Instagram, Ricky He provides a promising update with a caption that begins "final lap season 4." This indicates that the last round of filming is in the works after production started in June. The caption also says "tomato soup is back" and there is an image of a sign that says the same thing, likely from the Township's diner that was previously run by Kenny's mother, Tian-Chen Liu (Elizabeth Moy).

Other cast members are featured in the images as well, including David Alpay, Hannah Cheramy, Corteon Moore, Samantha Brown, A.J. Simmons, and Julia Doyle, the last of whom has been cast as a new series regular for season 4.

There are also glimpses of Colony House, the pool with no water in it, the motel sign, what looks like a hand belonging to one of the monsters, along with Kenny and Ellis Stevens (Moore) putting their feet up on a desk in the sheriff's station.

If From season 4's production does wrap soon, the show could return in the first half of 2026 instead of in the second half. This can ensure that there is not a full two-year hiatus between seasons 3 and 4, with the series capitalizing on the momentum after last season's surge in popularity.

While the images mostly show the cast simply spending time together, the tomato soup caption and sign hint that the reopened diner is thriving under the management of Bakta (Angela Moore). This is good for Kenny, who can see his mother's legacy living on through the diner even after her tragic death.

Also, Kenny with his feet up in the sheriff's office is a reminder of him becoming Boyd Stevens' (Harold Perrineau) deputy again in season 3. They have reconciled now, and Boyd will need to rely on Kenny more than ever before.

Even though season 4 is still at least several months away, this update confirms that production is winding down, and it will not be too long before From answers more of its biggest mysteries.
