Demi Lovato marries singer-songwriter Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes in California wedding

Lovato and Lutes met in 2022 while working on Lovato's last album and were engaged in 2023.

The "Cool for the Summer" pop singer, Camp Rock star, and Child Star filmmaker has officially married singer-songwriter Jordan Lutes, who performs under the stage name Jutes. The couple tied the knot in a Sunday ceremony in Los Angeles, Lovato told Vogue.

The pair met when Lutes, 34, was brought in to collaborate on Lovato's eighth and most recent studio album, Holy Fvck, in 2022. The couple dated for nearly two years, and in Dec. 2023, Lovato, 32, announced that they were engaged.

"I'm still speechless. Last night was the best night of my life, and I can't believe I get to marry the love of my life," Lovato wrote on Instagram.

Lovato signaled that the big day was approaching this past Valentine's Day by sharing a stunning carousel of wedding-themed photos of the couple posing in and around a black, convertible roadster to her Instagram.

"Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!! The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that," Lovato wrote. "I'm obsessed with your heart, your love and your light. I can't wait to grow old with you and start a family together 🥹🥹 Happy Valentine's Day to the love of my life. I love you honey!!!"

Lovato has shared several relationships with fellow musicians and entertainers over the years, including Trace Cyrus, Joe Jonas, Wilmer Valderrama, and most recently, the actor Max Ehrich. The pair were engaged in July 2020, but announced they had split two months later, citing a desire to "go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers."

Discussing her relationship with Lutes on The Howard Stern Show in 2023, Lovato said their bond feels "so healthy" in no small part thanks to their insignificant age difference. The pop star has said that she feels "gross" to have dated older men when reflecting now on her dating history, but with Lutes, Lovato feels the pair are "growing together."

"He has the best personality, we laugh nonstop," she told Stern. When the veteran radio host asked Lovato if she thought she would "marry this guy," she responded, "Yeah, I think so... He's so great because, you know what it is, we started out as friends and built that foundation of friendship first... but there's a partnership there that is just so magnetic."
