Pro Wrestler Syko Stu Details Severe Injuries Following Raja Jackson Assault

Professional wrestler Stuart Smith, known as Syko Stu, has broken his silence after a violent attack. The assault occurred at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in California this week. Raja Jackson, son of MMA legend Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, is the alleged attacker.

Smith was released from the hospital on August 31. He faces a long and difficult recovery from his injuries.

Syko Stu and his wife posted a detailed update on Facebook. They expressed deep gratitude for the public support received. The message confirmed Stu is in good spirits despite the trauma.

According to the post, Smith sustained a serious head injury. He was unconscious upon arrival at the emergency room. The assault caused significant trauma to his upper and lower jaws.

He also suffered a deep laceration to his upper lip. Most severely, he fractured his maxilla bone. This injury resulted in the loss of several teeth.

The maxilla bone is critical for facial structure. As noted by the National Library of Medicine, it supports upper teeth and aids in chewing and speech. Recovery from such an injury is complex and lengthy.

The incident happened during a live wrestling event. Video footage shows Raja Jackson entering the ring unexpectedly. He slammed Smith to the mat and delivered over twenty unanswered punches.

KnokX Pro Wrestling condemned the act as reprehensible. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed they are investigating the assault. No arrests have been publicly announced at this time.

A GoFundMe campaign was launched to cover medical expenses. It has seen an enormous response from fans and the wrestling community. The fundraiser has collected over $214,000 to aid Stu's recovery.

The wrestling world now awaits further developments from law enforcement. The Syko Stu assault case highlights serious concerns about safety at live events.
