Real-life Bloodline member reveals reason for WWE release

A real-life member of The Bloodline revealed why WWE released him earlier this year. The promotion is currently on the road to Survivor Series 2025 this Saturday at Petco Park in San Diego, California.

In an interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Lance Anoa'i discussed being released by the company last month. Anoa'i noted that he was right back on the grind in the independent wrestling scene after he learned he would be released by WWE. He shared that he had bad injury luck during his stint with the company.

"I still had another two years on my contract. Found out, man, I forgot the date. Do you know why? Because that moment on I knew that it was right back to the grind. I was blessed to be there. I was happy to be there. I learned a lot. Unfortunately, injuries weren't on my side. Keep going, man. Nothing was ever handed to me. I had to work hard for every single thing I have in my entire life," he said.

Lance Anoa'i and Roman Reigns are cousins in real life. The Tribal Chief is scheduled to appear on tonight's episode of WWE RAW and will be in action this Saturday at Survivor Series. Reigns will be teaming up with The Usos, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk to battle Brock Lesnar, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre in the Men's WarGames match at the PLE this weekend.

Wrestling veteran Tatanka recently pitched a major rivalry with Roman Reigns and the rest of The Bloodline.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Tatanka noted that his two sons were training to be in the business and suggested that they could have a rivalry with The Bloodline in WWE. The legend added that he would be the manager for his sons and that anything could happen in the future.

"Who I would love to work with? Roman Reigns. Come on, man. Tribal Chief. We're talking about Native Bloodline, Samoan Bloodline. And we're bringing two boys in right now. So I'm going to be the manager. You never know what could happen here in the future."

Only time will tell if Lance Anoa'i ever gets the chance to return to the company down the line.
