3 new restaurants coming to downtown Phoenix

PHOENIX -- A trio of restaurants by a Prescott-based group are coming to downtown Phoenix in early 2026, a Monday press release announced.

A $4-million investment was made by Vivili Hospitality Group to install two restaurants and a bar near First and Portland streets on Roosevelt Row.

These new concepts for Valley residents will be Pizzanista!, Hero and Bar Saint Bruno, which are all currently under construction.

Skyler Reeves, founder of the restaurant group, said the coming food spots will be "for the neighborhood, not just in the neighborhood."

"I've had a place here for years now, and I spend a lot of time walking around, meeting people, seeing how much heart this area has. I didn't want to parachute in; I wanted to build something that belongs here," Reeves said.

Los Angeles-based Pizzanista! will bring its casual vibes and creativity via Vans and Thrasher Magazine partnerships to the desert in the form of a 1,200-square-foot pizza shop.

It offers Sicilian-style pie and "Sunday" slices, that are completely covered in macaroni and cheese.

Due to the retail partnerships, Pizzanista! also has frequent merchandise pop-up events.

Italian joint Hero will offer made-from-scratch pastas and has 5,300 square feet of space, featuring 2,500 square feet for an outdoor patio.

It will be the first of its kind.

Bar Saint Bruno is a late-night cocktail bar and it will be located right behind Pizzanista!, with an additional 400 square feet more than the front-facing shop.
