Is snow coming to the York County area? See the forecast here

The first real snow of the 2025-2026 winter season in south-central Pennsylvania is expected within a few days.

A storm in the forecast for Sunday, Nov. 30 will likely deliver mainly rain to the York area as temperatures will be a bit too warm for snow, AccuWeather.com meteorologist Alyssa Glenny said. The high is predicted to be 41 degrees. Areas north of Harrisburg could see some wet snowflakes.

Another storm on Tuesday, Dec. 2 could bring a coating to an inch of snow in the York area, she said. It could mix with sleet and rain, with a high near 34 degrees.

The higher terrain in Adams County could see more than an inch of accumulation, Glenny said.

Travel could be impacted with the wintry weather early next week. Many students are scheduled to return to class after the Thanksgiving holiday break.

The Washington, D.C. to New York corridor could see heavy rainfall with Tuesday's storm, Glenny said.

Meteorologists are watching for temperature shifts that could alter the forecast.
