Knoxville man charged with arson after fire at business, KFD says

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Knoxville man has been charged with arson after a fire on Kingston Pike, according to the Knoxville Fire Department.

KFD's Timothy Woods told WVLT News that 60-year-old Michael O'Berry was charged after setting fire to a storage box by the Smartway located at 8416 Kingston Pike.

According to Woods, O'Berry did $10,000 in damages to furniture that was inside the box. He added that Knoxville Police Department officers were able to identify the suspect with a video and take him into custody nearby.

O'Berry is being held at the Knox County Detention Facility.
