GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Noah Chambers scored 19 points and pushed Warrensville Heights in the third quarter, as their defense took over and stunned defending OHSAA Division III boys basketball state champion Lutheran East on Sunday during the NEO Youth Elite Christmas Classic at Garfield Heights.
The Falcons (5-1) failed to score for nearly six minutes in the third quarter, as Warrensville Heights (6-1) took control and held on for a 65-61 win.
In addition to Chambers' efforts that netted him MVP honors, fellow senior guard Taebien Anderson scored 16 points with eight rebounds. Camden Hill added 12 points off the bench with some hustle plays on defense.
T.J. Crumble led Lutheran East with 19 points and eight rebounds, while freshman guard Dylan Zeigler scored 18 points.

The NEO Youth Christmas Classic continues Saturday, Dec. 28 with a doubleheader of Glenville (5-2) vs. Cleveland Central Catholic (5-1) at 6 p.m., followed by Garfield Heights (6-0) vs. Richmond Heights (2-2).
