Three students and a school bus driver were taken to the hospital from a school bus crash in Northern Kentucky Thursday morning, a fire official said.
The school bus driver had a medical emergency and the bus ran off the road at Hanover Boulevard and Collier Lane just before 6:30 a.m., said Burlington Fire Chief Jeff Barlow.
The extent of the injuries was not immediately clear.
Two additional students were evaluated on the school bus and determined to be unhurt, he said.
The Boone County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash, according to Boone County dispatchers.
