ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) -- A Rochester police officer was taken to the hospital following a crash on East Main Street.
The crash happened Tuesday night near Circle Street. According to RPD, the officer's vehicle was struck from behind. Alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the crash.
The officer was taken to the hospital by ambulance with upper body pain. No other injuries were reported.
The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for following too closely.
