The worst thing a parent can do to their teenage child is take away their freedom with a good ol' fashioned grounding. Effectively clipping their wings, grounding a kid can make them feel like a chastised baby, not the fledgling, independent adult they imagined themselves to be. However, at a certain age, grounding your kid doesn't make much sense and might only foster a rebellious nature in their soul. What age is that, you might ask?
