Captain America's Chris Evans has become a father for the first time after welcoming a baby daughter with his wife Alba Baptista.
The couple, who recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary, welcomed a baby girl named Alma Grace on October 25.
Birth certificates obtained by TMZ revealed the pair had given their daughter both their last names.
The couple have kept their relationship private, and while Evans has attended several movie premieres in recent months, Baptista has stayed out of the public eye.
Evans, 44, and Baptista, 28, never announced an engagement but tied the knot in a private ceremony in September 2023 after more than a year of dating.
The actor first confirmed their romance back in early 2023 when he posted a lighthearted Instagram reel of the couple playing around at home.
Rumours that they were expecting a child together grew stronger earlier this year when Baptista's dad commented on a Father's Day fan post saying, "Many thanks dear Chris. Your turn is coming!"
The new parents have not yet shared any posts about their daughter.
Despite their 16-year age gap, the couple have shown their strong bond publicly, including in their glamorous red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Los Angeles last year.
The actor, who was named by the People Magazine as the sexiest man alive in 2022, previously said he was excited for fatherhood and saw the title of dad as "an exciting one".
"When you read about most of the best artists, whether it's actors, painters, writers, most of them say it wasn't the work they made that they are most proud of, it was about the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared," he said.
He also shared in a previous interview with the Hollywood Reporter that he hopes to be known as a superdad, fondly recalling his own upbringing.
"Growing up in a close knit family of four, we would all sleep in the same room on Christmas Eve, watch a Christmas movie, and try to drift off amidst the holiday excitement," he said.
