Fortune Flip Entertainment, the record label Ayomikun, the late son of Nollywood actress Peju Ogunmola, was signed to before his sudden demise, has broken its silence.
In a statement released on Wednesday, September 3, the record label, in a joint social media post with Ayomikun on Instagram, expressed deep sorrow over his death.
The music record label revealed that Ayomikun passed away after a brief illness, calling for prayers and respect for the privacy of his family and loved ones.
It was also disclosed that a candlelight procession in Ayomikun's honour would take place in Ibadan on Thursday, September 4.
"Oluwanisola Omobolanle aka Ayomikun. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our brother and artist, who left us after a brief illness. We kindly ask for your prayers and respect for the privacy of his family and loved ones as they navigate this painful time. In his honour, a candlelight procession will be held on Thursday, September 4, at Ring Road, Ibadan, starting at 6:30 p.m. We invite everyone who loved him to join us as we celebrate his life and legacy," the statement read.
