In a candid and intimate conversation, "Good Morning America" co-anchor Robin Roberts sits down with former first lady Michelle Obama to discuss the evolution of her style and the power of fashion in "Michelle Obama: The Style, The Power, The Look - A Conversation with Robin Roberts - Special Edition of 20/20."
Filmed at Marymount University in Virginia, the two dig deep into how fashion has played a role in Obama's life. From designing her own prom dress, to taking on the world stage as the first Black first lady of the United States, she reveals how integral style has been at defining who she is today.
This special comes ahead of the release of her latest book, "The Look," "a celebration of style from the moment she entered the public eye."
It also features interviews with Obama's longtime stylist Meredith Koop, her makeup artist Carl Ray, and hairstylists Yene Damtew and Njeri Radway, along with top designers Diane von Furstenberg, Jason Wu, Tracy Reese and Narciso Rodriquez and fashion commentators.
The special airs Sunday, November 2 on ABC and streams the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
