Visitors can look forward to a festive mix of artisan gifts, seasonal produce, crafts, food and drink, alongside street entertainment and live music, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for families and shoppers.
Bewdley Town Council announced that a new partnership had been agreed with Midland Markets & Marshals Ltd to deliver a vibrant calendar of markets in the town, starting with the Christmas Market on Saturday (November 29), and continuing with a series of twice-monthly Sunday "Riverside Markets" from April to September 2026.
The Christmas Market will form a key part of the town's much-loved Christmas lights switch-on celebrations, bringing stalls to Load Street, Severnside North and Severnside South.
Councillor Nicole Harper, Mayor of Bewdley, said: "Markets have always been at the heart of Bewdley's history, and we are excited to see them return in such a vibrant and organised way.
"The Christmas Market will add to the magic of the switch-on."
Tracy Bodley, Town Clerk of Bewdley Town Council, said: "We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Christmas Market in November and to building momentum with the new Riverside Markets in 2026."
