CP AXTRA teams up with CJ CheilJedang to broaden access to authentic Korean cuisine across Thailand and explore future growth in ASEAN.
Building on the growing popularity of Korean cuisine in Thailand, Asia's leading wholesaler and retailer, CP AXTRA Public Company Limited (CP AXTRA) operator of "Makro and Lotus's" has entered a strategic partnership with CJ CheilJedang, the global pioneer behind the Bibigo brand. The collaboration will strengthen the availability and diversity of K-Food nationwide by combining CJ CheilJedang's internationally trusted expertise with CP AXTRA's extensive wholesale and retail network of more than 2,600 outlets.
Under the partnership, CP AXTRA will introduce a wider range of Bibigo products across Makro and Lotus's stores, as Korean cuisine continues to be one of the key drivers of food trends among Thai consumers. Popular items such as Bibigo stir-fried noodles and kimchi will be joined by an expanded selection that includes dumplings, Korean street-food items and sauces. The partnership also supports exclusive new product development and planning across both retail and wholesale channels, creating opportunities to bring even more high-quality Korean cuisine to customers nationwide.
