Paint Rock Coffee Co. will be opening at the corner of Hillside and Bell in the old Toot N Totum building. The exact location is 5901 Bell St.
Paint Rock Coffee Co. got its start when owner Tommy Bonner was driving from New Braunfels to Lubbock, and in between the two places, there is a small town called Paint Rock, Texas. Bonner quickly realized that there wasn't a place to get good coffee and use the restroom after passing through Boerne, Texas. He saw the cutest little building for sale and opened up the first Paint Rock Coffee Co.
In 2022, Bonner opened a Paint Rock Coffee Co. in Lubbock. That is when Kris, a coffee aficionado from Amarillo, visited the shop in Lubbock and fell in love. She insisted that Bonner open a Paint Rock in Amarillo and offered her assistance. This project has been 2 1/2 years in the making, and although there is no definite date set for the opening (you know how construction timelines go), it is expected to open in the next 3-6 months.
Paint Rock is the most colorful-it might just be the cutest coffee shop you'll ever visit.
Bonner is not only an entrepreneur, but he is also a landscaper and has figured out how to bring the outdoors indoors. You will find flowers everywhere at Paint Rock, and all the walls will be hand-painted.
The shop will feature all your favorite coffees and some you may have never tried, and the baked goods are all baked in-house. Baked treats include cinnamon rolls, homemade toaster pastries, Rice Krispies treats, and lemon bars.

The shop will also have a drive-thru for more convenience. Hours will be 6:30 am - 7 pm, and of course, those may change depending on the demand.
