Korea Home Management Research Institute Director Shares Strategies for Post-Retirement Marital Harmony

Kang Hak-jung, former Daekyo CEO, emphasizes communication as key to managing marital transitions in 'Retirement School' on 'Chosun Money' YouTube channel

On December 2, Kang Hak-jung, director of the Korea Home Management Research Institute, will appear on the YouTube channel 'Chosun Money' in the program 'Retirement School' to deliver a lecture on 'post-retirement marital relationships.' A former CEO of Daekyo, Kang established the Korea Home Management Research Institute in 2000, believing that family relationships are key to happiness in the second act of life. He states, "A couple is a small organization, a family is an entity to be managed, and communication is a skill cultivated through effort. A happy family is not created automatically -- conversation requires practice."

On the 27th, in 'Money Meets People,' Song Hee-gu, the author of the recent hit drama *The Dream Life of Mr. Kim*, will appear. The drama originated from a novel Song, a former office worker, wrote on his blog. The novel gained popularity, sold over 500,000 copies, was adapted into a webtoon, and later became a drama. Song will discuss the background behind writing the novel.

The 28th will feature 'Money Money,' where Oh Keon-young, head of Shinhan Premier Pathfinder and renowned as a top financial instructor, will analyze the recent surge in exchange rates and propose countermeasures. He will also assess the possibility of a December interest rate cut by the U.S. Federal Reserve and forecast next year's economy.

December 1 will be 'Money's Special Lecture - Preview of the Financial Expo.' Lee Hyo-seok, a CFA and YouTuber with 460,000 subscribers, will appear. Lee, a graduate of Gwangju Science High School and POSTECH, worked at banks, insurance companies, asset management firms, and securities companies before starting his YouTube channel in late 2021. As a tech-focused expert, he will address: ▲Whether Google, which shocked the market with Gemini 3.0, can alter the landscape of the AI war and reclaim its throne, and ▲The future prospects of Tesla and Nvidia stocks, beloved by Seohak ants, Korean retail investors buying foreign stocks.
