LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -- Las Vegas police are involved in a barricade situation in the central valley early Thursday morning.
Just after 11 p.m. Wednesday, detectives located a suspect wanted on charges in the area of Paradise and Flamingo Roads. The apprehension turned into a standoff with police, a Metro lieutenant told FOX5.
The lieutenant said the area is shut down to vehicle and foot traffic as officers work to place the suspect in custody.
No other details have been released at this time.
Around 5:45 a.m., Metro police said the suspect was found dead inside the vehicle .
