A local school is opening its doors to the public for a family-friendly event to bring the community together.
The Ellison Elementary School Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is hosting a Christmas Market with festive cheer, local shopping, and fun activities Thursday, Dec. 4 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fulton Road school.
"We are so excited to welcome the community to our Christmas Market," said Tiffany Weatherbee from the PAC. "It's a wonderful opportunity to support our school and local vendors while kicking off the holiday season with fun for all ages."
Shop for unique gifts and support local small businesses, snap a photo with Santa Claus and his sleigh, indulge in homemade holiday treats and goodies at the bake sale and discover new books and support literacy initiatives at the book fair.
There is also an Imagination Station, a dedicated area for children's activities and fun.
The funds raised through vendor fees and activities will directly support initiatives and resources for the students of Ellison Elementary School.
