Titans' Calvin Ridley a fantasy must-play at Jaguars in Week 17

The Tennessee Titans face the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium at 1pm EDT on Sunday. It's the Titans' final road game of the season as they'll return to Nashville in Week 18 to host the Houston Texans.

The Titans and Jaguars just met in Week 14, and despite the Titans being favored, the Jags walked away with a 10-6 victory behind backup quarterback Mac Jones, who replaced Trevor Lawrence after he was placed on IR. This week, though, the Jags will face a new quarterback as Mason Rudolph is starting over the recently benched Will Levis.

Road games can be tricky, but the Titans want redemption after holding the Jags scoreless for three quarters before giving up 10 points to lose the game.

There aren't a lot of fantasy options between these two teams, but there are some favorable matchups. If you made your league's playoffs, here's a few fantasy options to consider in this AFC South battle.

Last week, Calvin Ridley had just three receptions. But those receptions earned him 78 yards and a touchdown, and it was a far cry from the team's first outing against the Indianapolis Colts where Ridley didn't register a single reception. The Jaguars allow the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers, and Ridley has been one of Rudolph's most reliable pass catchers. He's currently projected just over 13 points, but if he and Rudolph connect, it could be more.

RB Tyjae Spears

Over the last few weeks, Tyjae Spears has exploded onto the scene making an impact no matter where he is on the field. He's doing time as a return man, he's picking up the slack for an injured Tony Pollard, and he's been available as a receiver. He has five touchdowns this season, four rushing and one receiving. Four of those have come in the last two games. With Pollard still nursing an injury, expect Spears to be involved and find the end zone for the third straight week against a Jaguars team that allows the second-most fantasy points to running backs.

TE Chigoziem Okonkwo

Chigoziem Okonkwo didn't have the best outing against the Jaguars in their last meeting, recording three catches on four targets for just eight yards. But over the last two weeks, Okonkwo has become a reliable outlet for Mason Rudolph, roping in 17 passes for 140 yards. He's found the end zone just two times this season, but the more targets he has, the more opportunities he will have to remedy that situation. The Jags allow the third-most fantasy points to tight ends, and the Titans have been using Okonkwo more often, so it stands to reason that he will get some touches this Sunday.

WR Brian Thomas Jr.

The last time the Jags and Titans met, Brian Thomas Jr. racked up 86 yards on eight receptions and is Mac Jones' favorite target. The Titans' secondary has fallen off in recent weeks and Thomas is projected to have the sixth-most fantasy points among receivers this week. Thomas has had 100-plus yards in each of the last two games and has three touchdowns during the same time. He and Jones have a connection, and the Titans will be hard pressed to stop it this week.

RB Tank Bigsby

Last week, the Titans allowed the Indianapolis Colts to rack up an astonishing 335 yards on the ground. Tank Bigsby is responsible for the sole touchdown against the Titans in Week 14 that gave them the win. He's not flashy, he doesn't always rack up a ton of yards, but he has a knack for finding the end zone, and you can be sure the Jags watch last week's film to figure out exactly how to replicate the Colts' success on the ground.
