Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold said to cost less than expected, but still pricey

The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold, the company's first tri-fold smartphone, is rumored to debut in Korea next month. The phone is expected to carry a heavy price tag, but a new report suggests the phone could be cheaper than previously rumored.

According to Korean reporter yeux1122, the Galaxy Z TriFold will be priced around 3.6 million won ($2,447) in its home country. While this is still expensive, it is cheaper than the previously rumored price tag.

Previous rumors had claimed that the Galaxy Z TriFold would cost around 4 million won ($2,720).

The reporter further noted that the foldable phone will be available for purchase directly via Samsung and sold in a single color and storage variant.

The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is rumored to offer a 10-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch cover screen. It is said to come with a 200MP primary rear camera and a 5,437mAh battery.
