Fans are officially fed up with UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones. For the past year, UFC interim champion Tom Aspinall has been waiting to get his show against Jones, but unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an official date on when the fight will happen.
Whenever Jones is asked about the fight, he insists that he's told the UFC his plans for the fight.
"Yall barkin up the wrong tree, I told the Ufc my plans a long time ago. I have no clue why they haven't shared them with you guys yet."
Jones insists that he's currently having fun right now.
"I don't know if I wanna call it retired, I feel like I'll always have an ability to pop out and show em. I've had many breaks throughout my career, my identity outside of fighting is well intact. I'm genuinely enjoying life, I'm growing in different ways."
Aspinall is not happy with the current situation he's being put in.
"Now, I've been almost a year inactive with no prospects of anything apart from wait,"
"I don't care about fighting Jon Jones I just want to be undisputed champion."
Fans have now started a petition asking the UFC to strip Jones of the title for ducking Aspinall.

Jon Jones is now the longest reigning champion in UFC heavyweight history and has only fought 2 times in that period.
There is a clear interim champion, Tom Aspinall, who has defended his interim championship belt. Aspinall is ready to fight Jones. Jones refuses to fight him.
Therefore, we as fans must let Dana White know: It is time to strip Jones Jones of the heavyweight title. He clearly has no intentions of fighting anytime soon.
The petition has quickly gained traction and garnered over 20k signatures from disguntled fans.
