NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Good things weather wise come in THREEs and this Labor Day won't be too different from this weekend -- just more storms inland.
Both Saturday and Sunday saw morning storms along the coast and Monday will be the same...
Initially starting out in the sound and around both Plaquemines and St. Bernard parishes then expanding throughout the South Shore by lunchtime then coastally along Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes by dinnertime.
Monday's Labor Day will also have a nice breeze...
The coast will experience stronger wind gusts throughout the day, but New Orleans will have gusts up to 22-mph around lunchtime.
Then looking ahead to the rest of the week:
The day that will have up to a 40% for widely scattered rain will be Tuesday, but besides that we'll have fairly low isolated rain chances through next weekend.
As for the humidity, levels will be heading downwards over the next few days then on the up and up by the end of the week.
