Adán has spoken candidly about his autism diagnosis and revealed how the condition has impacted him in his younger years and in adulthood.

"Many of us on the spectrum have had difficult lives," he told Tudum in April 2025. "We have been ridiculed and made fun of, we don't have many friends, and we have gotten picked on and beaten up."

Adán said that he's turned to his faith while facing hardships, adding, "For me, believing in God has been my strength, and my religious beliefs are what help me make sense of the pain that I've experienced in my life. My values have been shaped by my life and life experience."

While sharing his background, Adan has been "using his platform to raise awareness, break down stigma, and show the power of being true to yourself," as proudly described in an Instagram announcement for his father, Congressman Lou Correa, on May 24, 2025.

Adán and Dani ultimately called it quits during season 3 due to their views on intimacy and wanting different things out of life. She has since moved on with her boyfriend, Henry.

"I didn't break up with Adán," she told Tudum about their split. "He broke up with me. Or at least, that's how it felt. Because for a year and a half, he let me believe we were on the same page, that we were building something real together. And then, just like that, he pulled the rug out from under me."

Dani said she was surprised to learn on their last date that Adán wanted "to take a step backward - no kissing, no intimacy, nothing."

Adán also addressed their breakup and revealed he felt confident in his decision to part ways with Dani. She was his first girlfriend and he explained that he will always cherish her for that.

"I have learned that love is magical and beautiful," he told the site. "I am confident that I will meet other girls that I can date and build a strong and honest relationship with. I do want to find love again. It happened once, it will happen again."
